Project Overview

Arbicon were instructed to resolve a payment dispute for our Subcontractor through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Solution

Arbicon were instructed by our Subcontractor client to resolve a payment dispute with regards to our client not being paid sums on a project that had a default notice due to potential defects. Our client didn’t agree with the defects and having looked into the project, it was clear that our client was due the money owed. Arbicon wrote one letter to the opposing party explaining the legal and contractual obligations to pay and full payment was received.

Our client had another payment dispute with the same opposing party several months later with the refusal to release retention due to potential defect, Arbicon were subsequently instructed again and wrote another letter, full payment was received by our client.
